By the Sea Studio Apartments is a comfortable complex of 21 self-contained studio accommodation situated on three levels.

The Studio GARDEN Apartments lead onto private patios in the rainforest. The Studio BALCONY Apartments onto balconies at palm tree height. Twelve Studio SEAVIEW Apartments, open onto spacious and private balconies with glorious views over Four Mile Beach and the Coral Sea. An ideal setting to enjoy breakfast or pre-dinner drinks.

Our building is of classic Queensland style, set in lush tropical gardens. The large saltwater swimming pool and spa is just the perfect place for a refreshing dip. Sun worshipers will love our sun-deck on the top floor, especially in the winter months.
The apartments are best suited for two to a maximum four adults. This, combined with the quiet beach side location, will ensure a tranquil, and regenerating holiday.

By the Sea Studio Apartments feature well-equipped kitchenettes. Towels and bed linen are supplied and changed regularly.

Your hosts have lived in the area for 15 years and will be able to provide impartial and specialised knowledge on where to go, what to see and how to get there, that suits your individual needs.

Want to try a spot of fishing off the beach or public wharf? We will provide the basic fishing gear. Also there is a tennis court just four minutes walk from our apartments, which we will book and also provide tennis rackets.

Entertainment- We have Colour TVs in all rooms, satellite TV*mid July in Sea View Room and also DVD Players available.

Not only will you get a free bottle of bubbly if you book your tours with us. We have also applied for liquor licence which will enable us to stock an inexpensive range of beers, wines and spirits in reception for your convenience.

Reasonably priced continental breakfasts & newspapers can be ordered.

We will arrange your air port transfer. The drive from the Airport to Cairns takes about 1 hour and has magnificent views more>

Port Douglas is a lovely place to cycle, especially along the beach and main street. We have bikeS for hire in reception at a modest ½ day, daily or weekly hire rate

Notes About Rates
Before Booking please ensure you are aware of the following:

Please be aware that there are quite a few stairs to the first and second floors.

We do not do a daily clean of the rooms but do provide clean towels as required. You can have a daily clean at an additional charge of $20.

If you are staying for a long time though, we do clean every seventh day.

Check in time is 13.30pm and Check out is 10 am, but if possible we will allow you to move in earlier and leave later, when ever possible.
