Flames of the Forest
Port Douglas

To experience this magical evening is to step outside the world for a moment - experience something different, unusual, provocative unique to this region and unlike any other theatre or restaurant or dining experience you may have encountered before.

As an exciting, value for money alternative to a Port Douglas restaurant, experience Flames of the Forest. This evening of theatre, tropical dining, authentic Aboriginal culture explored through story telling and music concludes with the chance to stroll by the river illuminated by hundreds of flame pots and you may find some interesting nocturnal wildlife! And the all inclusive price means no extras.

It is a must-do for anyone interested in history, Aboriginal culture, the rainforest, tropical dining, produce and fruit. all in one magical candle-lit experience in the rainforest, conveniently located near Port Douglas, Palm Cove and Cairns, the gateway to Australia's Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest.

Flames of the Forest
Dine with other fellow travellers on a tropical banquet including local exotic produce, Australian wines. All this as you sit in flickering candlelight by a rushing mountain creek under the canopy of the rainforest. We’re not a restaurant, but we offer an innovative and fun dining experience.
The evening unfolds as it would have many generations before with an ancient tale from the Aboriginal Dreamtime. After dessert, enjoy some Daintree tea and local coffee, explore the river surrounds or simply sit back and let the sounds of the rainforest tell its own story.
